Blogging Inspiration

Was blog walking again....... hee hee.

Seeing all these bloggers trying their hands on being a YouTub-ie, it twitches my mind whether I can find inspirational video on blogging.  I mean, why always looking at static posts, right?

So, went to YouTube, walk about, and TA DAH........ the Alpha Project on Uncovering Malaysia's Top Bloggers.  All of them, Redmummy and Kennysia, and the newly known to Cincau, Fourfeetnine and Nicolekiss.  The latter two is new to me, although I see fourfeetnine aka Audrey being featured in some posts of Cheesie and Xiaxue.

At the end of the clip, redmummy said :

Point no. 2, YOU HAVE TO HAVE YOUR OWN PERSONALITY.  No Tiru-tiru.  That means copycat or duplicate. Hmm???........ do I sound like copying from someone?

There's more!!  First of all, bear in mind that this so called Alpha Project was made in 2009.  And she revealed her then salaried income was RM7,000.  Today, she is a housewife / housemaker + invitational jobs related to blogging and is now expecting her 3rd child.  So she must be earning above RM7,000 to let go of her former job.  Isn't that inspirational?  Yet, when she mentioned her average of 5 posts per day, that's a major difference with my nos. now.  Shy-shy .

Anyway, I chose this clip among all the available Alpha Project clips is because she was the one I've mentioned earlier when I started this blog.... The $$$ Malaysian blogger.  So, looks like Cincau is not like any of the featured bloggers, for the 1 obvious element, I do not place pictures of myself.  Twitch-twitch...... should I ???

To end, ignore what Jojo Struys mentioned at the end of the clip.  This clip is afterall, made in year 2009.  NO CONTEST, OKAY!!!

And, seeing the video, I'm now envious of redmummy for she has the best hubby, so supportive and so accomodating to her demam (fanatic) for red colour.  There are times I feel like I'm in countless contests of "Battle of the Sexes" .  Shesh!!!

Where are they?

I'm feeling abit confused   .  Why haven't these people been updating?

I mean, some of the frequent blogs I visit.  And they are not just ordinary blogs, they are award winning blog sites.  Don't they want to continue being award worthy sites?

Has blogging reach the peak and is now going down the saturation stage?  I hope not 'coz BOO-HOO..... considering I've just started blogging.

Talking about frequent sites, Cincau need to update my new list of 5 most visited blogs.  They are :

2 only?  Yea, 'coz the other 3 are in the last list.  Guess who are they?

But I figured there are other ways to follow these people..... like  microblogging via tweeting.  No blogs update from them, but they tweet drastically.  Overwhelmingly Wow!

 And for that overwhelming, I have yet to set up a tweet account.  Techs......... phobia .  

I'm asking a silly question here :  If I'm ready to tweet, but I'm tweet illiterate, how to get out of it?  Or, how to handle it without sounding stupid?  Geez, taking one step at a time.

Shoot!!!..... my pics look bad.

Anyway, the 1st image is to show the 999 times my blog was visited and the 2nd image shows that I've been blogging for 3 months and 1 day.  Today is the 6th day of the month of June, year 2011.  My blogging intuition commences from March 5, 2011.

I thought I should commemorate this day as my big 1,000 views will be approaching soon.  Woo hoo!!!

So, how does it feel blogging for the last 3 months?  To tell you frankly, its been overwhelming.  I'm constantly fearful as I was not quite competent with technology.  What more when there are new ones in the market almost everyday?  I do not even own a smartphone for god's sake!!

But on the positive side, it has been enriching.  As my curiosity at times bugs me, with thanks to technology, a simple search and I am able to get answers.  But why keeping them to myself?  Here, I share with all my cincau-cliques of what I knew and found.  Well, not all my posts are about the knowing and finding.  A few describes about my cincau kins.  And that is for you to understand me better..... hee hee.

As I end this off, the counter just showed the 1,000th view @ 10.43am. Congrats to either a Mr. or Ms. viewer from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.  You've just made my day!!!  Another woo hoo!!  No prize though.... hee hee hee.

** Update: Only managed to post this out now @ 9.00pm.  Office work comes first.  Geez, how to sustain a living without depending on a job? Ponder, ponder, ponder.

Cincau is a new blogger, hence is very very "green" in the blogging world.  So "green" with only 1 1/2 months of casual blogging experience, I need alot, alot, I mean damn lots of guidance.  So as I was blogwalking,  (I think that's the term the bloggers refer to when you poke ur head to their sites), and I can tell you, it can be overwhelming........ OVERWHELMING and INFORMATION OVERLOAD.  Gosh.... I had a hard time swallowing every bits of the tips.

Yet, I stumbled upon this particular blog and post that attracted my attention :

Yup, its the work of denaihati.com and you are invited.  The purpose is to build a larger network reaching out to bloggers who may be potential followers to your blog.  And of course there's more.  Unfortunately, I am missing one element to this work.  I do not understand when she mentioned to leave a link on CommentLuv.  I failed to understand even though I've done the search.  Anyway, irregardless of the above, I'm going to list my top 5, and here they are:

denaihati.com : 'coz sabah bloggers said most Malaysians follow her blog.  And so I poked my head in, and I'm hooked.

Ha ha, YES, Cincau got the ultra 1st placing being the most popular post pinged with blogged.my.  I couldn't believe it myself.  Unfortunately, there is no evidence whether its a quality post.  Hence, some constructive comments would be good.  Although I do see an increase of traffic flow, still its not any exploding experience.

Nevertheless, I guess its a good start and motivation to keep me going.  There are still much for me to learn, like I said, I'm quite tech-illiterate.  The most important will still be progress and improvements.  NO stagnation!

Total view after a month of blogging : 238.  Okay, its not much, but YES, I'm proud of myself.
