Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice.
That's what little girls are made of.
How popular is this poem describing the ultra sweetness of the female species. The upper phrase of this poem mentioned of the boys ingredients. Do you know what boys are made of? Not that I care of....... for now.
Everytime after a trip, I would bring back some of these:
Chocoholic spree..... wheeeeee!! |
I love chocolates! I love chocolates! I love chocolates! Cincau is an avid lover of chocolates. They taste heavenly, melt in your mouth and in your hand. That greasy and gooey texture just fill the soul with sweetness and magically create the feel good factor. Magical??..... maybe overly extreme. How about "sudden rush"??
Do you know there are health benefits in eating chocolates? Below the extract from www.stuffedchocolate.com

Dark chocolate -- not white chocolate -- lowers high blood pressure, say Dirk Taubert, MD, PhD, and colleagues at the University of Cologne, Germany. Their report appears in the Aug. 27 issue of The Journal of the American Medical Association.
But that's no license to go on a chocolate binge. Eating more dark chocolate can help lower blood pressure -- if you've reached a certain age and have mild high blood pressure, say the researchers. But you have to balance the extra calories by eating less of other things.

Dark chocolate -- but not milk chocolate or dark chocolate eaten with milk -- is a potent antioxidant, report Mauro Serafini, PhD, of Italy's National Institute for Food and Nutrition Research in Rome, and colleagues. Their report appears in the Aug. 28 issue of Nature. Antioxidants gobble up free radicals, destructive molecules that are implicated in heart disease and other ailments."Our findings indicate that milk may interfere with the absorption of antioxidants from chocolate ... and may therefore negate the potential health benefits that can be derived from eating moderate amounts of dark chocolate."
Translation: Say "Dark, please," when ordering at the chocolate counter. Don't even think of washing it down with milk. And if health is your excuse for eating chocolate, remember the word "moderate" as you nibble.
Okay, so the above says dark chocolate........ NOT MY KIND OF TASTE!! Its because of the multiple processing from dark to milk, precious flavonoids is stripped off. It is flavonoids that provides the bitter and pungent taste.
Nevertheless, manufacturers are already studying ways to retain a generous amount of flavonoids with acceptable taste even in milk chocolates. Eiyahoo!! Dear manufacturers, I'm rooting on ya!!
With sooooooo many different brands of chocolates available in the market, which is recommendable? Even after so many years, I do not have one specific preference. I have to say this, it all depends on your taste buds. Nevertheless, for this time round, I'm following my ultra demanding boss as he took this and paid at the counter:
Monkey sees, monkey follows..... choco-ey with biscuits. |
As much as Cincau would like to say the refreshing cincau drink is by far the best, but how can I compare an apple with an orange? 2 different food, both with their distinct specialties. I'll just have to put both of my thumbs up for each one of them.
Yay!! |
